Often times we feel like either we can't make a world of difference, or we feel that
it's not going to change anything anyway. The truth is you can change someone's day,
you can change someone's life, but you have to show up and do what you got to do
to actually see any fruit coming from it.

Young Researchers Day is a networking event dedicated mostly, but not exclusively, to researchers at early stages of their career. If you are young at heart and you feel young in spirit, this day is definitely for you!
The YRD program includes: influential and inspiring workshops, short communications and discussions.
What is special about YRD and what makes it different from other days of the conference is that we want to give you a lot of time so that you could know each other better and become acquainted with researchers whose scientific interests are similar to yours. It happens too often that we remain anonymous in the crowd and simply pass each other. Let yourself be seen and heard!
As a YRD attendee you are invited to introduce yourself to the audience. The stage will be yours for 5 minutes. In such a short time you cannot tell any long story, but... it's fairly enough to say who you are and where you come from, what your research is about and what expectations of the conference and other researchers you have. Please, notice that you should deliver a clear and concise message, so that the researchers who are interested in knowing more about you and your research could talk to you when the session is over.
Being noticed and heard may be one of the most important steps on your career path!
